We were selected as finalists… now you can help us win
There I was, about to fall asleep, taking a good rest away from a marathon week of script writing for this awesome Cortazar documentary I've told you all so much about, when my phone started to explode. Retweets, mentions, FB posts lighting it up like a little rectangular Christmas tree.
So I took a look. And I was floored. Julio and Carol - a new documentary about love, Cortazar and literature - had been hand selected as a project of the week finalist by IndieReign, one of the Internet's largest indie film distribution networks. Let me say that again. Out of all the thousands of film project on all the thousands of Crowdfunding platforms, they picked ours as a finalist for this contest.
So that felt great.
But you know what would feel really, super, extra special? If we WON this thing. It means $100 bucks into the project... but more importantly it means getting featured on this incredible website, which is a hub for thousands of filmmakers and ever more indie film lovers, buyers and supporters world wide. It could be a huge difference!
So… if you would take just two seconds to help us win this thing, there couldn't be anything easier.
Simply click to vote - that's it. You just helped us win.
You don't have to register. You don't have to sign in with FB or anything. You just click on the link, find "Julio and Carol" on the drop down list, and vote.
Please, pretty please, go do this now. We are basically tied for first with another project, and it's neck and neck. We have a really good chance of winning this thing.
